areas: Community Employment, Education & Employment, Health & Well
Being.
Our five priority areas are: Harm Reduction, Stabilization, Treatment
& Rehabilitation, Outreach, Community Development.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS- ESSENTIAL
* A minimum of 2 years? experience in paid addiction or similar key
working position within a community addiction environment
* A relevant third level qualification in addiction studies or
social care.
* An excellent understanding of issues relating to problem drug use,
criminal offending, homelessness, dual-diagnosis and progression
pathways towards community-based rehab, housing, and training services
* A good working knowledge of the theoretical framework of harm
reduction/risk reduction.
* Excellent communication and listening skills. Capacity to develop
positive relationships with internal and external agencies
* Trained and experienced in the use Motivational Interviewing, (MI)
and/or Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) and/or Solution Focused
Brief Therapy. (SFBT).
* Trained and experienced in the Key working, Care planning, and
Case Management Processes
* Experience in Report Writing.
* Experience in data Inputting with reference to the eCass/Link Case
Management System.
* An understanding of Community Development.
* Good experience of group facilitation, therapeutic and educational
* Must have the ability to act upon one?s own initiative within
the context of professional boundaries and accountability.
* Must have the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
